The Sanctuary Retreat Center

The Sanctuary is a retreat site Affiliated with Ananda Seva, a non-profit organization, and is dedicated to the encouragement and development of programs and events which enhance the physical, mental and spiritual well being of those who attend. It is intended to provide sanctuary and retreat for all who come.

The Sanctuary is also available for the rental and usage of groups who promote or who are in line with the intentions of the Sanctuary CenterLocated in the beautiful mountain forests west of Kalispell and Whitefish Montana, the Sanctuary Retreat Center, home of Ananda Seva Montana, provides a wonderful setting for yoga meditation and lifestyle instruction, retreats and events. 

Close to Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake and all the unsurpassed recreational opportunities in northwest Montana, the grounds of the retreat provide areas for peaceful walks, gathering in beautiful mountain gardens and refreshing dips in the pond.  The Sanctuary has beautiful accommodations which include a kitchen/dining hall and a beautiful Yurt gathering space.  In addition to hosting Ananda Seva, community, social and retreat gatherings, the Sanctuary Retreat Center is available to rent for events, retreats and workshops.  Contact us to find out more.

In preparation for hosting the Ananda Seva Summer Retreat in 2010, work was completed upgrading and building more facilities and accommodations including, a dining hall, bath house, yurt gathering space, cottages and tents.   Please enjoy this video documenting the transformation of the retreat site.
